In difficult moments, human values are revealed and become essential…
Cigref and Syntec Numerique present six principles to be implemented with all the necessary discernment in the framework of the contractual relations they maintain and which can be shaken up in the current period:
Principle of resilience: whenever possible, and as much as necessary, each party takes all measures at its disposal to honor current contracts, without giving in to the disarray caused by the crisis, in order to participate in maintaining the activity or prepare the conditions for its resumption;
- Principle of proportionality: postponements, terminations, interruptions or cancellations of service contracts of any kind must be proportionate to the stakes of loss of turnover in connection with the health crisis, avoiding any windfall effect;
- Principle of gradualness: together, principals and service providers are called upon to define, through dialogue, progressive workload reduction plans, preparing, as far as possible, for the end of the crisis and the resumption of activity;
- Principe de différentiation : les ajournements, résiliations, interruptions ou annulations de contrat de prestations de toute nature devront être mis en œuvre si nécessaire, en privilégiant le maintien d’activité des prestataires les plus faibles, les plus fragiles ou le moins en capacité de supporter la baisse de leur chiffre d’affaires ;
- Principle of responsibility: the respect, or even the reduction, of payment deadlines in such a difficult period for the weakest providers, the most fragile or the least able to support the decrease of their turnover, is an absolute necessity;
- Principle of solidarity: depending on the client’s sector of activity, and in particular when they are particularly involved in the fight against the pandemic or when the consequences of the pandemic on their activity are paroxysmal, their service providers will be attentive to the conditions for preserving the capacity of their clients to emerge from the crisis and resume regular activity.

In accordance with these principles, TOD commits to paying its service providers within the same timeframe as before the crisis, to remain present with its clients while ensuring the security of the talents of its community, and to offer throughout the containment period, without being remunerated for it, the intervention of its interim managers for health crisis management missions or the replacement of managers prevented from working during the crisis.
